Historical Texts is a full-text digital archive of over 460,000 texts published from the late 15th century to the long 19th century. It includes: Early English Books Online (EEBO) (1473-1700); Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) (1701-1800); British Library 19th Century texts (BL) (1789-1914); UK Medical Heritage Library (UKMHL) (1800-1900s). There is a wealth of content ranging from the Romantic to the Victorian period. Subject areas include English literature, history, geography, science, social science, religion and medicine. Materials include books, pamphlets, sermons, prayer books, sheet music, broadsides, newsbooks and more.
